Notice of Draft Report & Public Hearing
In accordance with the Citizen Participation Plan, notice is hereby given that a preliminary draft of the FY16 Consolidated Annual Performance & Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the Community Development Block Grant for St. Charles County, Missouri, will be available for public comment during a 15 day period beginning February 13, 2017. This report outlines CDBG expenditures between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016. The County is interested in obtaining public comment regarding projects and results in the draft report.
The County will hold a Public Hearing at St. Peters City Hall at 6:00 pm on Monday, March 13, 2017, located at 1 St. Peters Centre Blvd, St. Peters, MO 63376. All interested citizens will have the opportunity to give written and oral comments. Copies of the draft report will also be available for review and comment until 5pm on February 28, 2017, in the Community Development Office at the County Administration Building or on the County webpage at http://cd.sccmo.org/CommunityDevelopment. Comments may be submitted by email to email@example.com, by mail or in person (201 N. Second St., St. Charles MO 63301). Comments must be received by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. Due to Mayor West being out of town, the meeting has been rescheduled from Tuesday, Feb. 14 to Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.

The Board of Aldermen of the City of New Melle will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. at 145 Almeling, New Melle, MO 63365 for the purpose of public input on the Proposed Budget for the FY2017. The Regular Board of Aldermen Meeting will follow.

Alderman Ward I – Two (2) Year Term
Alderman Ward II – Two (2) Year Term
Alderman Ward II – Unexpired One (1) Year Term
Candidates wishing to file for election must file a Declaration of Candidacy at the City Hall, 145 Almeling St., New Melle, Missouri 63365. Filing for candidates opens at 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2016, and closes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. City Hall will be open for filing on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. City Hall will be open for filing during regular business hours from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday .
